Desde 2002 - Professor Associado da Universidade de Évora. 1998 - Doutoramento em Teoria Jurídico-Política (área de Filosofia Política) pela Universidade de Évora. Área de actividade científica: Political Theory of International Relations, Legal Theory, Poltical Philosophy. Actuais interesses de investigação: Political Thought of Juergen Habermas, Modern and Contemporary Political and Legal Thought, International Politics, Human Rights; Globalization.
